Doree Putnam-Baker, LCSW
My goal is to help you uncover your true potential and create a life that is worth celebrating. While we can’t change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to help you better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying mindfulness and cognitive behavioral based approaches and techniques, you can learn how to accept your life and start living in the present not the past. You will gain insight into long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
Creating safety is vital, learning to find and cultivate that within yourself and your life is essential to a healthy life. Our work together will be focused on creating a safe place for your exploration of emotions and current stresses, improving your tolerance level, and overall outlook on life.
If you are a parent struggling with your child’s difficult behaviors there is help available. Together we can work to help you and your child learn how to manage emotions in a healthy non-aggressive manner. You can learn how to effectively communicate with your child.
